After surrendering my plans to the Lord summer 2020, He gave me the vision for Journeying Zion! God told me He wanted me to bring His daughters together in fellowship and community from all around the world! It's amazing how He wanted to use me to fix the problem and create the solution for something that I needed. Come to find out, so many other Christian women needed a place to connect them as well. My goal is to never let girls go without life-giving community wherever they journey!
The Zion Tribe is now global and friendships are being made all around the world! All glory to God!
In 2020 not only did the whole world go through change, but the Lord also called me into a new vision for my life. From a young age my goal was to have a career in marine animal care. May of 2020 I felt the Lord saying that chapter of my life was over and He had something else in store for me. This was really hard for me to accept and believe. I had no other plan B!
To give you some background, throughout the majority of my life I've had a hard time finding friends who yearn to follow Jesus, be intentional in friendship, have fun, and go on adventures with. There was a point in my life when I didn't have any friends and when I did have friends, they weren't ready to go all in on the Christian walk. In college I even stopped going to church due to my church not having a solid young adults program. I had no where to find my

- My husband and I were in a long distance relationship for over 4 years before we got married. Crazy!

Hey girl! I'm Carrissa, the creator of Journeying Zion. I am so excited to be able to share this community with you! For years I have wanted to help you deepen your faith and teach you the freedom you have in Christ! I want to mentor, encourage you, and help you build a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. I also absolutely love to travel and get outdoors! And I want to do that with you!
Meet Carrissa
After much prayer for the name, I landed on Journeying Zion. This community is all about having a relationship with Jesus with authentic friends walking by your side. Our relationship with Jesus is a lifelong journey. We aren’t designed to journey by ourselves. The goal in our journey together is to always be in Zion - the place where Jesus dwells.
Throughout the Bible Mount Zion is mentioned. It is the mountain of grace. Mount Zion is the place where God dwells and His daughters reside. What a better place to journey together than Zion!
