There are verses in the Bible that talk about what we see and hear for a reason. What are you watching and listening to? If we are being honest with ourselves, I’m sure there’s something toxic that you may be listening to or watching. (For example, it may not be that TV show as a whole, but it could be a recurring character or thing that triggers something for you.) Keep in mind, something that can affect you negatively may not affect a friend of yours. Pray about if there’s anything you need to cut out or take a break from for a bit.
He makes all the difference! When you spend time with Jesus and in the Word, you will get to know the promises that are spoken over your life and who you are. Also, if you haven’t already, start walking in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Truth and you Helper. I cannot tell you how much intentionally walking with the Holy Spirit helps my day and mind!
I used to not be one to have a routine. Getting one down I loved took time and it’s still a work in progress! Getting a routine will help things in your day flow. Give yourself grace when forming one! Habits take time. Sometimes it takes trying different aspects in your routine until you find what works best! Also, pray about it. Allow the Holy Spirit to have a say in how your daily routine should go.
Pay attention to what you’re thinking! Be cognizant of your thoughts. This Way you can stop negative thoughts and take them captive in Christ. How you think affects your feelings. So, if you take captive of your thoughts rather than continuing in a negative cycle, you’ll start to feel better!
Be active! Get some exercise. I never thought I would be one to say that exercising makes a difference in the way I feel and my mood, but IT DOES. I become aggravated faster and am more frustrated throughout the week if I don’t exercise AND get outside. We are called to take care of our bodies. Why? Our Father knows it will benefit us!
